Hush a bye baby, on the tree top,
When the wind blows the cradle will rock;
When the bow breaks, the cradle will fall,
And down will come baby, cradle and all.
Now this is suppose to be a lullaby, yet
it tells the child that the tree branch its in is going to brake and
his cradle is going to crash to the ground.
I think Ill give this
one a miss :). Dated around 1760, it is sang to the child.
